ROAD WORKS

Road Works barriers are unique canvases for local painters new to muralism that introduce artists to painting at large scales on rough surfaces. The barriers provide safety and intrigue to Calgary’s adaptive patio spaces and traffic calming projects throughout the city.

CBC BATTLE OF THE BURBS MURAL

CBC Calgary’s Battle of the Burbs was a six week competition between Calgary communities to pick Calgary’s best suburb. After nearly 119,000 votes, the community of Silver Springs was crowned as Calgary’s best suburb.

GRAFFITI JAM

The roots of many mural artists are in graffiti – BUMP is excited to present many gifted and experienced Graffiti Writers at each of our local jams. We are thrilled to provide safe space for these artists to share their skills and collaborate on a unique wall in Calgary.

WORLD’S TALLEST MURAL

The legendary German graffiti artist, DAIM joined with BUMP in his Canadian debut to paint the world’s tallest mural in Calgary’s vibrant Beltline neighbourhood. Standing at 310 ft, this is a landmark mural in Calgary that is aimed at cementing the city on the international map as a creative hub for artists and powerful public art.

DDRC MURAL

In 2022, BUMP partnered with the Developmental Disabilities Resource Centre of Calgary (DDRC) to celebrate their 70th anniversary, and help promote a more inclusive Calgary with the creation of new mural.

WHITEBARK PINE MURAL

BUMP is excited to launch in 2022 a mural for Parks Canada to help raise awareness about whitebark pine trees – an endangered keystone species in Banff National Park.
