Now Introducing : Muster Point 2025
Monday February 3, 2025
In 2025, BUMP Festival is proud to present a bold new project :The Muster Point. This multi-installation project, running from March to April 2025, will explore the themes of urgency, gathering, escape, and connection in an immersive, interactive public space.
What is Muster Point? At its core, Muster Point is about more than just showcasing art. It’s about creating a space for reflection, dialogue, and connection. Inspired by the idea of a “muster point” – a place to gather in times of crisis or transition – this project invites three artists to explore what it means to come together in turbulent times through their own imagination. The project’s venue is a 750-square-foot space designed to serve as a metaphorical gathering point for audiences to reflect, engage, and interact with experimental art installations. With expansive windows facing a busy street, this adaptable setting allows artists to break boundaries, creating immersive and thought-provoking works.
The selected artists for this inaugural project are:
S.T.Purtill
AGS.YYC
Jacquelyn Huskison
Each of these Calgary based creators will present a two-week installation, contributing their unique perspectives on the central themes. Expect bold explorations of myth, monsters, the end of times, finding patterns, and the boundary between the real and the unreal.

Muster Point will take place March 1 – April 30 2025, with each installation running for two weeks. The space will be open to the public, with specific hours for visitation during each installation’s duration. More details on dates, opening nights and timings will be released soon.
