The BUMP Festival brings together various artists, people, businesses and places to activate the city for an entire month. There are many ways to play a part in what we are creating and the success and growth of BUMP relies on local, national & international artists as well as support from members of our community.

SUBMISSION PROCESS
Artists are invited to apply to the August Festival in the spring of every year, typically in January/February.. These applications are for both the general festival as well as our new Road Works painting program which takes place in May. To learn more about our jury selection process as well as BUMP’s overall mission, vision and values please visit our ABOUT section.
Successful artists will be advised they have been selected for the project by late spring. Due to the volume of applicants, only shortlisted applicants will be contacted, with the full festival programming released in July. In addition to the BUMP Festival, applicants can request to be added to our artist database to be considered for special BUMP projects.
