Join Dawn van de Schoot of Calgary Arts Development for a special Public Art 101 session designed specifically for BUMP to showcase the ways in which transitioning your studio practice to the public realm through murals can be a great transition step to opening the doors to the wider world of Public Art. We will look at the unique requirements of working on private vs public property, working in exterior locations, permits and other public requirements, and how all of these lead to eventually taking your art off the wall and into the streets!
