Teenybotanist (Cecelia Leddy) is a painter and illustrator based in Treaty 7 Territory, in Canmore, Alberta, where she takes inspiration from the wildlife and scenery that surrounds her. Known for her bright colours and eye-catching designs, her artwork explores the connections between people, places, and nature, reflecting on the lasting impacts we have on one another. Expanding her practice into muralism and graphic design, Teenybotanist often finds herself day-dreaming her designs into the mountains she plays in. Her work has found its way from coffee bags to ski top-sheets, wall murals to bear bins, with the goal of transforming ordinary spaces into joyful experiences.
