NASARIMBA, meaning ‘playful mischief’, is the collaborative practice of Calgary artists, Mikhail Miller and Rachel Ziriada. Working together since 2015, the duo have established themselves across Canada and in Mexico through mural painting, street interventions and fine art. Their visual language includes abstract forms and recognizable objects arranged in compositions that explore spatial relationships. Bright hues and colour gradients contrast with static textures and crisp edges. This summer they had their debut in a commercial gallery with a solo exhibition at VIVIANEART in Calgary’s Inglewood.
