Mural Title

“Linens In The Wind”

Mural Statement

This mural depicts a woman in a floral dress and scarf, shaking out sheets in the wind. It’s a quiet, poetic moment that celebrates the beauty of daily life and simple tasks. I chose this scene for its visual weight, and the action being visible above the treeline. The lower section of the wall highlights the texture and patterns of fabric and linen. Painted in a loose, impressionistic style in spots, the piece draws from classical art traditions and focuses on gesture and textile. It’s meant to feel familiar and act as a soft reminder of everyday moments. It’s meant to beautify the mundane.
