Maya Corona

With 20 years of expertise in global graphic design, Maya Corona transitioned to full-time painting in 2019 to embrace a world of bold, expressive colour. Originally from Mexico City, Maya is now based in Calgary. She has since contributed to over 25 art exhibitions, showcasing her vibrant fusion of watercolours, acrylics, and digital art.

Since diving into muralism in 2021, Maya has become a dedicated community collaborator,
constantly evolving her techniques to transform public spaces. Her work invites viewers to pause
and find joy. Through extensive community engagement, Maya proves that art is not just to be seen; it is a powerful tool for connection.
