🚧 ROAD WORKS 2025 IS HERE 🚧
Monday April 21, 2025
We’re back on the streets and the movement has begun. Spring is here, open up those curtains and witness a year of magic that is taking shape at BUMP. Road Works 2025 marks the official kickoff to BUMP Festival’s pre-season, igniting a summer of public art interventions, mural installations, and city-shifting energy that will build toward a bold and visionary August.
This year, BUMP feels like more than mural festival and instead a full on urban art movement. It’s a reclamation of space. A challenge to the idea that cities should be optimized for efficiency over experience, that walls should remain blank and that public space is neutral.
Road Works is our first portal. A site-specific, open-air exhibition that sets the tone for what’s to come, transformative, energized, urgent. This city is in flux, and so are we! Let’s see what new art emerges from this era.Â
We are thrilled to introduce this year’s Road Works cohort, seventeen local artists painting barriers with BUMP Festival for the first time:
Jean Gole / Teenybotanist / Megs / Liss Febrero / Bukhtawar Malik / Jonathan Wolfe / Leechuts / AGS / Harneet Kaur Chahal / Tyler Wong / Juliana Lumawig / Phoenix (Kefei) Ning / Chelsey Dyer / Felix de Alva / Toni Cormier / Jen Schier / Kara Mains
We are excited to see what all of you create this year! You can learn more about these artists by selecting ROAD WORKS on our 2025 Gallery.
