The first BUMP Festival party of the summer arrives tomorrow at High Park at 1 PM. We have a packed day planned for all of you that includes live graffiti writing from five spectacular graffiti writers, a 3v3 basketball tournament and sounds and vibes fuelled by DJs who are moving Calgary’s underground culture. Here’s what to expect:
3v3 Basketball: Gather your team and show off your skills at our 3v3 basketball tournament! Whether you’re a seasoned player or just looking for some friendly competition, this is the perfect chance to play and enjoy the game with fellow festival-goers. Prizes await the top teams, so bring your A-game and enjoy the thrilling matches throughout the day.
Back to back to back Music! Some of the hottest rising stars in Calgary’s electronic music scene will be keeping us dancing all day. MRBEEFYBUNZ, SWYM, TIARRUHH, BABYTEETH.EXE and Jonathan Crane are ready to take you on a journey of jungle, house, trap, afrobeats and drill while you watch b-ball and crush some drinks.
Taste the 2024 BUMP Beer: DAISY CHAIN is here and you can stay refreshed at our High Park Party. Crafted specially for our festival by Establishment Brewing, this beer offers a unique blend of flavours that you won’t find anywhere else, specifically in the form of a gulp-able, fresh, Japanese Rice Lager. Beginners Graffiti Art Workshop: Ever wanted to try your hand at graffiti? Join our Beginners Graffiti Art Workshop and learn the basics from some of the best in the business, RUST MAGIC. This hands-on experience will guide you through the techniques and styles of graffiti writing, helping you create your own piece of street art to take home. No RSVP required, arrive for 2:00 PM!
Open Decks from Controller Club: We are also calling all aspiring DJs! We will kick off our party with two packed hours of open decks brought to you by Controller Club. All newcomers to the art of influencing the VIBE, now’s your chance to come jump on the decks to kick off our day! Controller Club is for beginner and intermediate DJs looking to practise and hone their turntable skills.
