The 2021 Beltline Urban Murals Project (BUMP) Festival is hosted through the month of August at various outdoor venue sites in Calgary, Alberta. The BUMP Festival is entering its fourth year, and continues to expand to deliver free, all-ages, accessible music programming to help engage the public with local music and new murals.
BUMP is currently planning a month-long August Festival with 12-15 outdoor music events. Each event will take place at different outdoor venues in Calgary’s Beltline area and feature local performing artists (DJs, bands, etc.). All performances will be paid, compensation to be discussed upon acceptance into the Festival.
Each event will be hosted by BUMP staff, and will feature a PK Sound audio system. Performance times are 45-90 minutes for bands, and 60-120 minutes for DJs.
All BUMP events are strongly subject to pandemic restrictions in place in August, which may affect BUMP’s ability to host the event, the artist’s scope of performance, the venue, etc. All events will be held with the highest safety standard, including mandatory masks, available sanitizer, distance for performers, pandemic signage, etc.
