We can hardly contain our excitement because tomorrow, August 17th, marks the epic conclusion of this year’s BUMP Festival with our outdoor party: THE TRINITY KIKI BALL & RAVE! 🎊 This is more than just a party—it’s a celebration of Calgary’s vibrant arts scene, featuring the groundbreaking work of the 39 visual artists who’ve made this year’s festival unforgettable. 🌟

A Celebration of Queer Underground Culture
This year, we’re pushing the boundaries and spotlighting the burgeoning queer underground of Calgary. In collaboration with VOGUE YYC and AMBIEN, we are honouring underground legends, electronic music icons and ushering in a loud, exciting Calgary that looks to the future. Prepare yourself for an evening of self-expression, innovation, and pure joy! The best part is, you can enjoy it for free!
What to Expect:
- The Kiki Ball: The festivities kick off at 5 PM with an electrifying kiki ball, where the fiercest vogue walkers from across the country will strut, spin, and slay. Expect a dazzling display of performance art, dance, and fashion that you won’t want to miss!
- The Outdoor Rave: As the night progresses, the ball will transform into a high-energy rave at 8 PM to midnight featuring a killer lineup of DJs:
- MIKEQ: The legendary ballroom icon from New Jersey, known for his massive impact on the ballroom and vogue music scenes.
- Jasmine Infiniti: The ‘Queen of Hell’ will bring her powerful mix of techno, house, and experimental hip-hop, turning the dance floor into a space of freedom and celebration.
- REDLINERS: This dynamic DJ duo from Toronto made waves last summer with their Boiler Room set, and they’re ready to bring that same energy to Calgary!
- Food Trucks, Beer & Cocktails: Our friends at Establishment, Byhendo and Wild Folks will all be at this party to quench your thirst through the night. We also have a great selection of food vendors for you to choose from to fuel up before dancing.
- Dress Code? While you don’t have to dress up, a KIKI BALL & RAVE means you definitely can come ready to show off! The theme is TRINITY! You may want to come as The Chosen One or you may want to arrive with an esoteric, otherworldly flair. Either way, come dressed to express yourself! Think bold, think fabulous, think you at your most extra.
An Inclusive and Reverent Celebration
This event is more than just a rave—it’s a resounding celebration and show of solidarity for Calgary’s LGBTQIA2S+ community. With the foundation laid by VOGUE YYC and AMBIEN, we’re ensuring that this year’s party is both energetic and inclusive.
