This year’s Movies With a View invites audiences to experience the visually stunning 2006 anime film Tekkonkinkreet under the stars. Directed by Michael Arias and celebrated for its groundbreaking animation, the film follows Black and White, two orphaned boys fighting to protect their beloved Treasure Town as powerful outside forces threaten to transform it forever.

Join us on the rooftop of High Park for an unforgettable summer evening of cinema, with food and drink vendors on site as we celebrate one of the most visionary animated films ever made against the backdrop of Calgary’s night sky.
