Andrew Sedor (Mobility Initiative Lead, City of Calgary)

Andrew Sedor works as the Mobility Initiatives Lead at The City of Calgary. Andrew leads the seasonal patio program, shared e-Scooter and e-Bike program, Paint the Pavement and other innovative projects in The City’s road right of way. As part of this work, Andrew has collaborated with BUMP to create hundreds of Roads Works Mural Barriers and e-Scooter/e-Bike Corrals that line Calgary’s streets. Andrew also teaches a course in Urban Planning at the University of Calgary and holds a master’s degree in Land Economics from the University of Cambridge.

Chris is proud to live and work on Treaty 7 territory (Calgary). His professional background spans many sectors, including municipal affairs, post-secondary education, disability services, and student/seniors/community housing. Chris holds a master’s in planning from the University of Waterloo. In his spare time, you can find him out for a run, writing down a ‘no-context-quote’ (ask him for one!), or listening to a history podcast.

Dr. Teresa Goldstein (City of Calgary, University of Calgary)

Dr. Teresa Goldstein, DDes, RPP, is Director of Community Planning for the City of Calgary and an Adjunct Associate Professor at the University of Calgary’s School of Architecture, Planning and Landscape. She holds a Doctorate of Design from the University of Calgary and a Master of Urban and Regional Planning from Queen’s University, and is a registered member of the Canadian Institute of Planners and the Alberta Association of Canadian Institute of Planners.

With more than 25 years of experience across the public and private sectors, Teresa has held senior roles with the City of Calgary, Canada Lands Company, and Stantec, with a focus on affordable housing, housing policy, community and land use planning, and policy development. In 2024, she was appointed to Canada’s National Housing Council, where she contributes to national advice on housing affordability, supply, and system reform.

Teresa brings a cross-sector, multidisciplinary perspective that connects federal housing priorities with municipal implementation and community outcomes.

Mike is a social profit sector leader, with experience developing and executing comprehensive fundraising strategies and a long history of community involvement and community advocacy. He has worked and volunteered with non-profit organizations large and small over the past 25 years and has specific work experience in post-secondary education, health care, and social services. Meldrum’s experience in building comprehensive fundraising programs includes planning and executing fundraising campaigns, marketing and communications, and stakeholder relations. Over the last several years, he has consulted with various clients in the post-secondary, healthcare, and social services sectors.
